Kecia founded VALUEworks, an exclusive multi-family office based in Zurich in 2004 and since, led the development of its holistic and values-based service offering. She advises her clients on family governance, risk management, estate planning and philanthropy. With her experience, creativity and strong interpersonal skills, she coaches women and NextGens on how to cope with family business and wealth-related challenges and becoming responsible wealth-owners. Kecia has been actively engaged in the wealth management industry. She speaks and publishes on family governance, wealth related and philanthropy topics. Committed to STEP, she served as a Committee Member of the Swiss-German branch, the global SIG Philanthropy and as Deputy Chair of the SIG Business Families. In addition, she regularly acts as judge and expert at STEP's Private Client Awards in London. Prior to founding VALUEworks, Kecia worked for GAM in Zurich and Bermuda, before joining the private client team of PWC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) as a vice president. In 2007, she spearheaded the creation of the Swiss Association of Trust Companies (SATC), which she presided until 2012. Her passion for strategic philanthropy led her to co-found the Zurich Roundtable of Philanthropy and initiate the exclusive Swiss Women + Philanthropy Network. Kecia holds a Master in Law from the University of Zurich and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. She speaks five languages. In 2021 she was awarded for her Outstanding Contribution to Wealth Management Thought Leadership and as Leading Individual at the prestigous WealthBriefing Swiss Awards.
